The steel straightedge checker table is a special equipment for checking the accuracy of steel straightedge. In industrial measurement, dimensional accuracy is critical to product quality and productivity. Therefore, it is very important to check the accuracy of steel straightedge to ensure accurate measurement results and quality production. The following is a detailed description of the calibration of the steel straightedge calibration table.

Steel ruler calibration table

A, the principle of calibration

The calibration principle of the steel ruler test bench is to detect the accuracy of the ruler by contacting with the steel ruler. It ensures the accuracy of the ruler at different lengths of the scale, so that accurate measurement can be carried out.

Second, the calibration steps

1.Measuring fixed

First of all, the measuring fixation of the steel straightedge calibration table must be accurate. Use an adjustable caliper to measure and adjust the fixed position, to ensure that the angle of measuring fixed clamping is small with the angle of the steel straightedge, and the gap between the clamping plates on both sides of the fixed table should be symmetrically equal.

2. Measuring check

Before checking the steel straightedge, the accuracy of the checking table must be checked first. Use high-precision inside diameter calipers and percentage table and other precision testing instruments to check whether the geometry and position of the steel ruler check table meet the accuracy requirements.

3. Calibration of standard ruler

Select standard rulers for calibration to ensure that the size and accuracy of the standard rulers are consistent with the national standard regulations. For different lengths of straightedge to be calibrated by different standard rulers.

4. Adjust the permissible error

The so-called permissible error is the error of the measurement results within the specified range. The steel straightedge calibration table requires that the permissible error does not exceed half of the standard ruler. Before calibrating the steel ruler, the permissible error must be measured, and according to the measurement results to adjust the calibration table.

5. Calibration of steel ruler

Once all the previous work is ready, it is time to calibrate the steel ruler. Place the steel straightedge on the positioner and as close as possible to the positioner. Manually push the steel straightedge into the measuring fixing gripper and clamp it. Using the calibration tool in conjunction with the percentage table, measure each ten, five or two millimeters and calculate the results. The results are recorded if they meet the requirements.
